Hideez USB Bluetooth Dongle – Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon Troubleshooting

If the dongle does not appear:

• reconnect the dongle;

• try another USB port;

• reboot the computer;

• run lsusb again;

• verify that Bluetooth is not disabled in BIOS/UEFI;

• avoid using USB 3.0 ports if the dongle behaves нестабільно;

• test with another Bluetooth device.

If Bluetooth settings show no adapter, try:

sudo systemctl restart bluetooth

Then run:

hciconfig

again.
